The new Menongue Hospital is the result of a complex project carried out at a colonial hospital dating form the 1950s which was converted, through major refurbishment work on the existing 4.000 m2, along with an expansion of 13.000 m2, into a leading county hospital boasting at all the services and technologies expected at a facility of theses characteristics. The strategic placement of its technical and public corridors allows for the seamless integration of new and former buildings. The expansion encompasses the previous grounds, generating a set of courtyards which ensure the proper spacing of the complex, natural light and ventilation making essential aspects of the facility.
